The two-year course aims to give young students knowledge and deep understanding of how to build in mountainous regions with the natural resources available and using renewable solar energy.

Solar and natural building course included: Building Theory subjects, Practical Hands-on Work, Design Application, Computer skills, General Knowledge and Communication.

Participants and experts from over 15 countries converged in Ladakh and led a series of hands-on workshops on earth building techniques like rammed earth, cob, earth plasters, and passive design principles for climate-responsive buildings. Our students assisted the experts in their workshops and gained immense knowledge and exposure to techniques from around the world.

A month-long exposure tour was conducted to Ahmedabad- Bhuj- Jodhpur-Udaipur-Chennai-Auroville-Bangalore. The students were exposed to various construction techniques from old to new in different places. They got a brief understanding of various cultures, cuisines, lifestyles, and built forms.
